It is because apps will not run fast and smoothly on a microSD card, or not running well at all. MicroSD card should be for file, photos and videos. I've stored apps on SD card on my last couple of phones (Moto G2 and G4) and it's not been a problem. Even my current Samsung Galaxy A5, the apps run well on the SD card.

Step 1: Download Stock Rom zip file and extract it. Now open extracted folder and you can see dload folder. In this dload folder, you find UPDATE.APP file. Step 2: Connect your phone to PC and copy the dload folder into your Phone Internal Storage. Do not copy dload folder into any folder or SD card!!
